GB Financial Services, LLC, provides a holistic approach to the practice of financial planning. The first step in planning for the client’s dreams is to prepare for the 'what-ifs' in life. The good and the bad. Initial, one-on-one, complimentary sessions with a life coach and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional prepare clients for a proactive approach to finding comprehensive solutions to life's contingencies.

Gary Brownfield, MBA, CFP®, AIF®, is an investment adviser representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®. Bill Blalock is executive and a life coach—he is not securities registered and is not affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network. Together, they provide unparalleled service and ensure their clients' priorities drive their financial plans. Each plan will address a variety of elements from ascertaining personal life goals, investment plan time horizons, and risk tolerance to lifetime income stream requirements, long-term care, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and modeling for the 'what-if' scenarios. Clients of GB Financial Services, LLC, are primarily from the greater Houston area and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, although many clients have transplanted themselves to other areas of the United States and around the world.

The planning process begins with an initial complimentary consultation with a prospective client to determine whether the firm and the client are well matched. Once a client engages GB Financial Services, LLC, a series of follow-up sessions will address the client’s objectives and goals in life and pinpoint obstacles in achieving financial success. After gathering this information and any other data needed from the client, the firm will formulate a financial plan with a calculated return to pursue client goals in the most cost-effective, lowest risk way. Once the plan has been implemented, GB Financial Services, LLC, will monitor the plan and have periodic reviews of the portfolio with the client. Occasionally, modifying the plan may be required because of a major life event, changing economic expectations, or new investing opportunities. The firm's objective is to have an open forum for communication to help make sure that all components of the client plan work efficiently.

There are many ways for clients to pay for services; however, clients typically choose an asset-based fee. This type of compensation is not based on sales quotas or investment types. Clients enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the firm's compensation is tied directly to their account balances. Clients can expect a long-term commitment from the GB Financial Services, LLC, based on sound guidance and high-quality service since this type of compensation is based on having you as a client, not on selling you something. It is important that your expenses are as transparent as possible so that you know exactly what you are paying!
